House of Joy Childcare Center, LLC was founded in August 1998 when I began keeping children ages 6 weeks to 4 years old in my home. Since opening our Childcare Center has saw a substantial amount of growth and expansion causing it to be relocated in August 2014 to a facility located at 546 South Cherry Rd. Today we are operating four General classrooms that are filled with children from six weeks to four years of age and a fifth classroom is designated for the afterschool program for students ages 5 – 6.

Mission

At House of Joy Childcare Center, LLC, we believe in the value and uniqueness of each child we serve. We are a Christian-based childcare center and we strongly believe that children are a gift of God. Our childcare experience is designed to promote each child’s own individual social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development based on the higher reach curriculum. As caregivers and educators, our mission is to provide a safe and developmental.

Programs

At House of Joy Childcare Center, LLC, we provide developmentally appropriate programs for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. Each classroom offers a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that encourages learning, exploration, and confidence at every stage of growth.

Infants

6 weeks - 12 months

Our Infant Program provides a warm, loving environment where your baby can grow, explore, and feel secure. Caregivers focus on building strong, nurturing bonds while supporting early developmental milestones through gentle interaction, sensory experiences, and consistent routines.

Toddlers

12 months - 24 months

Our Toddler Program is designed for busy little learners who are discovering independence. Through guided play, hands-on activities, and positive social interactions, toddlers develop important skills at their own pace. Teachers introduce age-appropriate structure while encouraging curiosity and creativity.

Preschool

3 years old - 4 year old

Our Preschool classrooms offer a learning-rich environment that prepares children for kindergarten and beyond. Through a blend of structured lessons and play-based learning, children explore literacy, math, science, art, and cooperative play.

Afterschool Program

5 years old - 6 years old

Our Afterschool Program provides a fun, safe, and supportive space for young students to unwind after the school day. We offer structured activities, homework help, outdoor play, and enrichment time designed to strengthen academic skills and encourage creativity.

House of Joy Childcare Center began with a simple mission to offer quality, compassionate care to young children in a warm, family-centered setting. As our program grew, so did our vision. In August 2014, we expanded into our current facility to better serve our families and provide enhanced learning spaces.

Tuition/Fees

House of Joy Childcare Center, LLC is based on the age of the child and the program in which the child is enrolled. Tuition is due on a weekly basis and must be paid in advance to secure your child’s placement.

Loveeeeee the house of joy. Since my daughter has started she knows how to count, her alphabet, shapes numbers everything. Teachers are very respectful and definitely teach very good. My daughter is now using the potty much more now and all I had to do was tell them I was practicing with her . Kylahs loves her teachers and I can definitely tell soooo much growth in her

House of Joy is a great place! We love Miss Joy and the fact that she treats House of Joy as a ministry and not just a job. She, and all the teachers, love our children so much!
